Hello, my name is John Kelly and I'm a personal injury attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. I want to talk to you today about Side Impact Auto Accidents. If you've been in an accident where you've been hit from the side, T-boned as it's often called, there are some unique things that you should be aware of. These accidents often include drivers that were very negligent. They either ran a red light, they made a turn that they shouldn't have, and your damages are often very high because vehicles aren't often equipped to handle side impacts as well as they are, typically, with front impacts.

Establishing liability, what happened in the accident, can be important. You want to go through the police reports. First, you want to call the police if you haven't already; but if they have taken a report, you want to go through them, you want to talk to your attorney about what happened in the reports, what follow-up witnesses you might have, what things you can consider.
